Fundraising and Donations
Horizons Centre is a not for profit organization that relies on the generous donations from individuals and businesses in the community and surrounding areas. Funds raised help us continue to deliver quality programs and training.
Fundraising:
Horizons Centre hosts an Annual Spring Banquet, Silent Auction, Dinner & Dance Fundraiser – each year is a specific Hollywood theme.
Individuals from Horizons Centre volunteer monthly for community Bingos. Every two years Board Members, Staff, and Friends volunteer and work a Casino.
If you are interested in volunteering your time to work the Bingos and/or Casino; or you would like to donate an item for the Silent Auction or a “gift in kind” for the Spring Banquet, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Donations:
Horizons Centre gratefully accepts donations year round - If you would like to make a donation, memorial, or are considering an endowment, please feel free to contact us.
With Your Support:
YOU help provide the opportunity for a more independent lifestyle for our individuals
YOU allow for the addition of new training programs for individuals to meet business’ changing needs
YOU assist with the upkeep of existing program equipment, materials, and supplies
(E.g. woodworking, sewing, computers, cooking, personal development ,etc.)
YOU enhance the opportunities for meaningful community inclusion / partnering
